LIn Dan vs Chong Wei 2012
Wow, This is the most awesome match I ever seen. 3 days before the battle after dato' Lee Chong Wei(DLCW) defeat cheng long, he is the only hope for Malaysia to get our first gold medal.(since our swimmer fail to do so)There were rumors everywhere about free ice cream for everyone from Baskin Robbins, Holidays for all , free nasi kandar , and even 10% off for purchasing the Samsung galaxy Iphone! Wow, everyone is so excited that we can only think of their battle when the time comes.
Tweet.. Tweet... DLCW won the first match! There are tons of FB users keep updating their status like : I can smell the taste of ice cream, Holiday is coming and even winning the first gold medal ever for Malaysia!
Sadly, all done is done. maybe LCW lack some luck in his final match with Lin Dan although he do the leading first. Lin Dan that day is also too lucky for him to be defeated. It was all sad. There are rumours that he could not propose his future bride to be on spot.. lol ..
It was not only him that has his heart that breaks but also the all Malaysians that scream and shout whenever he manage to score one mark! I can even hear my neighbour screaming Lee Chong Wei when the live is on. It was a real pity for Malaysians and him but he had already done his best, we are really proud of him.(He improve a lot!) Without him we can't even get a single silver. At least for now, Malaysia already in the list although situated in the 46th position but better than nothing at all..
Dato' Lee, although you could not be the champion of London Olympics 2012 but you are the people's champion. And that is worth a match after all. I salute you because you are a real badminton player + a player with full honesty and spirit!
Hope that every athlete will be able to play fairly because no matter what you get, you will always be the champion of people's heart.
